In 2008, in my first full year as an acupuncturist, the idea of Starlit Earth arrived – a vision of seeing the planet lit up with all our hearts shining as bright as stars as we awakened into who we are as Love.  I wasn’t sure what to do next exactly but the idea was so beautiful, I held onto it.

On New Years Day 2018, after practicing for a decade, I allowed myself to follow my dreams to reinvigorate my acupuncture practice.  I remembered my Esoteric Acupuncture books that I had owned for over 10 years – I loved them, but never put them into practice.  I knew then and there I was to study with Dr. Mikio Sankey.  That first morning of him teaching Foundations, it all became so clear to me and I knew right then I wanted to encourage and help others to use this modality and embrace this way of being.  There was no reason to let those books collect dust anymore for anybody.  I transformed my whole way of practicing to primarily Esoteric Acupuncture, blending in my own style.  I witnessed Esoteric Acupuncture change my life and those around me,

Due to the pandemic, 2019 was the last year Dr. Sankey taught. After having to cancel and reschedule classes 3 times in 2020 and 2021, he chose to retire from teaching and focus on other endeavors.  In the years that followed, I could feel the gap of there not being an in-person teacher in the US, and so I approached him.  In 2023, Dr. Sankey endorsed me to teach and I held my first 2 classes of Foundations.  Then in 2024, I taught my first class of Advanced and another 3 classes of Foundations.  The teaching continues every year. The community that is drawn to this work is phenomenal.  We started meditating online together after the workshops, sometimes monthly, sometimes quarterly, around moons and Solstices and Equinoxes…and every time it leaves us in such a profound state of peace. Practitioners online together from California, Florida, Wisconsin, Nova Scotia, etc…I saw the web we were creating as we sat in silence. Was this part of creating Starlit Earth – helping each other as practitioners “Hold the Light.” (Dr. Sankey continually encourages us to Hold the Light during these times as this is our time to shine.)

In 2024 I started a year-long study with the Alliance of Divine Love to become a reverend.  It allowed me to open a 501c3 non-profit under them as the parent organization.  A year ago, I was ordained and created the non-profit Starlit Earth Alliance, whose mission is to spread peace, and more specifically, through teaching and holding sacred space with practitioners, with the vision to open a retreat center one day.  Changing the world can start with ourselves, especially as practitioners who work with hundreds to thousands of people each year.   We can spread peace through cultivating our presence.  And if you don’t believe it, look at the impact of those monks who are simply walking. 

Now as Starlit Earth Alliance, I have lowered the class fees from previous years to make this more accessible.  Your contributions will help support the mission of promoting inner and outer peace in this world.
